PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA — From January 27 to 29, 2026, the Institute of Digital Governance of the Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology (CADT) collaborated with the Phnom Penh Capital Administration to organize a three-session training course titled “Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Work Efficiency.” The program was attended by a total of 518 civil servants (including 149 women) from the Phnom Penh Capital Hall, specialized departments around the capital, all 14 district administrations, and all 105 commune administrations.
The primary objective of this program was to enhance the capabilities and expand the knowledge of civil servants regarding Artificial Intelligence, with a specific focus on Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs). The training emphasized effective prompt engineering techniques, ethical usage, and the application of AI as a personal assistant to accelerate and improve the efficiency of daily tasks.
This initiative aimed to strengthen work performance in response to the rapid evolution of digital technology across all sectors. Furthermore, it serves as a key contribution to building a digital economy and society in Cambodia, aligning with the Royal Government’s Pentagonal Strategy.
Notably, this collaboration between the two institutions has successfully completed five training cycles to date, reaching a total of 1,442 civil servants.
