PHNOM PENH, Cambodia –November 11th, 2025 – The Rector Council of Cambodia (RCC), supported by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS) and the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC), today announced the AI for Education (AI4Education) 2025 National Conference, organized by the Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology (CADT). The conference will be held on November 24-25, 2025, at the CADT Innovation Center.
Under the theme “Shaping the Future of Education in Cambodia,” the two-day event will serve as the national platform for high-level policy dialogue, innovation showcases, and practical skills exchange on the ethical and effective integration of Artificial Intelligence. This initiative directly supports the Royal Government of Cambodia’s Pentagonal Strategy—Phase 1 —by recognizing AI as a crucial driver of national digital transformation.
The core objective is to establish a strategic AI framework aligned with Cambodia’s National AI Strategy, supported by high-level policy dialogue. Government commitment is confirmed by the attendance of H.E. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron and H.E. Dr. Chea Vandeth, alongside international expert Prof. Wayne Holmes of University College London. The event will champion homegrown innovation via the AI for Education Innovation Competition, which includes a focus on Khmer AI in Education. Furthermore, the program features practical training workshops on tools like AI Toolkits for Educators and Prompt Engineering to foster the effective and ethical adoption of AI.
The conference targets key stakeholders across the education ecosystem, including policymakers, K-12 and higher education educators, curriculum developers, researchers, and EdTech innovators.
