Digital Insights, a two part publication by Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Cambodia and the Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology, presents AI not as an abstract concept but as a practical tool with direct relevance to Cambodia’s socioeconomic development, linking technological potential to policy action. Through locally grounded analysis and case studies, it highlights how AI can support national priorities such as agricultural modernization, stronger SME competitiveness, and more effective and transparent public administration, while emphasizing the importance of safeguards and ethical frameworks. The volume ultimately serves as a call to action for policymakers, industry, researchers, and development partners to treat AI adoption as a strategic imperative for competitiveness and sustainable development.
