The 14th International Conference on Information Technology and Applications (CITA 2025) officially concluded today in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, marking the first time this vital event has been held outside Vietnam. Organized by the Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology (VKU) and hosted by the Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology (CADT), CITA 2025 took place from July 14-15, 2025. The conference brought together leading experts, researchers, and academic leaders from around the world to discuss the latest advancements in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and the digital economy.
A key highlight of this year’s event was the launch of the ASEAN Consortium for Innovation and Research (ACIR) by VKU. The ACIR aims to strengthen collaboration and enhance research and training capacities among higher education institutions across the ASEAN region, providing a platform for innovative research initiatives and fostering greater cooperation.
The success of CITA 2025 can be attributed, in part, to the significant efforts of the Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology (CADT) in hosting the event. CADT’s dedication to fostering international collaboration in research has been crucial in ensuring the conference’s success, while also strengthening Cambodia’s research cooperation both regionally and globally, thereby further solidifying its role in the ASEAN digital landscape.
