Phnom Penh, Cambodia (06th November 2024) – Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology (CADT) and the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology of Japan (NICT) have signed the Memorandum of Understanding to promote exchanges and cooperation in research and education in the field of information and communication technology to foster the advancement of research and cultivating more researchers in the region. This auspicious MOU signing ceremony is presided over by Dr. KHOV Makara, Secretary of State, Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC), and Mr. NAGASE Kensuke, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission of Embassy of Japan in Cambodia witnessed by the committees and respective researchers during the opening ceremony of the ASEAN IVO Forum 2024.
The partnership emphasizes collaboration in education, research, and training for information and communications technology by developing joint programs, sharing capacity-building efforts, organizing technical meetings and workshops, exchanging staff and researchers, and disseminating relevant information.
This collaboration between CADT and NICT reflects the strong partnership between Cambodia and Japan. It is dedicated to advancing the development of researchers, lecturers, technicians, and academic staff in information and communication technology, ensuring that both nations thrive in this significant field.
