PHNOM PENH, May 2, 2026 — The Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology (CADT) successfully hosted the “Run for Smiles: 5,000 Bags of Smiles” charity fun run at Koh Dach. The event brought together approximately 400 participants, including CADT students, faculty members, researchers, academic staff, alumni, partners, running enthusiasts, and Koh Dach High School students—all united by the common goal of supporting children in need through community action and sport.
“Run for Smiles” is a charity fun run organized to raise funds for the “5,000 Bags of Smiles” campaign, which provides essential supplies to displaced children. Launched on December 10 by the CADT Student Association, the campaign focuses on preparing and distributing care packages containing clothing, snacks, beverages, school supplies, toys, and other necessities. Through these efforts, CADT hopes to bring warmth, joy, and renewed hope to children facing difficult circumstances.
Beyond its charitable mission, the event also focused on promoting the cultural and tourism value of the Koh Dach community to diverse visitors. Through this initiative, CADT aims to unite the community to drive social impact and create meaningful initiatives for the benefit of society.
